My writing process

Well to start off this blog I will begin by saying that I am a writer. I love to write, and unfortunately if I am forced to write my writing process is quite tedious. And sadly most of the writing that i have done has been forced on me. It is always one of those essays like "describe the perfect day" or "technology in your life" . So naturally being the stubborn 18 year old that I am I always procrastinate. I will start off by watching television. (note: I hate television) I will find something "good" on and tell myself "you know, you should watch more television its good for you" so of course, I will sit there for about an hour fixated on my Golden Girls or The Nanny not even realizing that i have begun the writing process. And I mean now that I sit here and think about it there are many things that I do before I write. It's almost habitual. Its a little ridiculous actually. I mean when I'm stumped on the intro or something I call the same person, and when they ask what I'm doing I say the same thing,"oh nothing, just here". I talk for about 30 minutes and then say i have to get off. It isn't until I am heating up a hot pocket or popping some popcorn that I look at the clock and realize what time it is. It is then that I truly start to write. That is if I have gotten the idea that I want for my paper. And if not, then I read my favorite book and something will come to me. But its inevitable that my dad or my dog will interrupt this marvoulous process that has been taking place for the past half day. And of course I will get distracted yet again and probably start the process over. I tell you this whole Essay thing is quite the nuisance.
